Accredited Organizations

Launched in June 2006, HIGH FIVE^® Accreditation establishes the benchmark for excellence in children’s recreation and sport programming. It distinguishes those organizations that focus on healthy development of children, resulting in programs of the highest recognized levels of quality and safety.

The HIGH FIVE^® Accreditation process (see below) was developed with the assistance of the HIGH FIVE^® Accreditation Expert Advisory Panel. Representatives from major service providers, researchers, and quality assurance professionals worked together to develop the most current effective quality assurance process for child centred programming in Canada.

To qualify for Accreditation, a Registered Organizations must complete all 5 Levels of Achievement (see below) JOIN!, LEARN!, MEASURE!, IMPROVE!, and ACHIEVE! in each of the four modules of the quality framework.
