Epic High Five Campaign

Overview

What’s more fun than giving a friend a high five? Giving 20 friends a high five, or how about 100? Join this Campaign to re-invigorate the Principle of Play by getting your organization/group to create a video of the most “Epic High Five”! The Campaign is designed to allow organizations and groups to have fun and add some play to a day! Some say the best way to inspire the spirit of Play in children is to be a playful adult!

HIGH FIVE® invites groups and organizations to submit a video of their own creation by participating in a playful and creative Epic High Five!  A prize will be awarded to the winners who submit the best entries as determined by the greatest number of “Likes” on HIGH FIVE’s Facebook page.

How to participate?

Organizations/groups who value Play, having fun, and providing positive experiences for children in sport and recreation should participate in this contest! Videos must be shot and edited in completion by the Organization and its supporters.

All videos must contain the following:

  • An Epic High Five (an actual clapping of multiple hands above the head by a group)
  • A demonstration of the Principle of Play
  • The title ‘Epic High Five’ and the organization/group name
  • Adherence to the Rules and Regulations as attached

How to submit your video?

  • Once the video is complete (shot and edited), organizations/groups must name their video ‘Epic High Five’ and their organization/group name (For example: Epic High Five – Parks and Recreation Ontario)
  • Organizations/groups must post (upload) their video to YouTube via their own channel
  • Organization/groups must post the video to the HIGH FIVE Facebook page wall at www.facebook.com/HIGHFIVECanada
  • HIGH FIVE will review all submissions and share the video on the HIGH FIVE Facebook page if it meets all requirements (see Rules and Regulations attached).
  • Organizations can then encourage colleagues, supporters, family, friends to vote for their video on the HIGH FIVE Facebook page by ‘liking’ it.
