The HIGH FIVE® train the trainer course empowered me to be an ambassador for the HIGH FIVE philosophy with in the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston.  

I believe that to truly embrace the design guidelines and principles your program logic model or framework has to be built with them as the foundation.  I tell people all the time that there is a difference between knowing and making HIGH FIVE a priority within not just our programs but our overall organization.  
 
Change is challenging however the outcomes from HIGH FIVE make you look through your HIGH FIVE classes and approach everything from a child's perspective and at the end of the day that is what our main focus should be.

When it was introduced in our municipality we could see the results through our parent survey results, the satisfaction surveys.  The kinds of things they’re saying are exactly what we want to hear. The HIGH FIVE® PHCD module and QUEST 2 Assessments contribute greatly to the success of the ARC/After-School Recreation Care programs. The training supports the outcomes of our curriculum which focuses on resiliency and the Principles of healthy child development helps guide our staff in their valued role as caring adults.
