HIGH FIVE® proudly extends congratulations to the City of Woodstock for achieving HIGH FIVE® Accreditation, the highest recognized level of quality assurance in children’s recreation and sport programming in Canada.
For more than two decades, HIGH FIVE® has been the Champion of quality assurance, helping organizations deliver exceptional experiences that support healthy child development. Accreditation is more than a milestone—it’s a promise. It signals that an organization is committed to creating safe, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate environments where every child can flourish.
Earning HIGH FIVE® Accreditation is a powerful statement of commitment. It means the City of Woodstock operates at the highest standards in recreation and sport programming, builds trust and credibility with parents and caregivers, and embraces a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Accredited organizations also gain access to exclusive resources and tools that help them deliver exceptional experiences for children.

To achieve this distinction, organizations must be on the HIGH FIVE® Pathway for at least three years and meet rigorous standards across programming, policies, and risk management, all with a focus on healthy child development.
“Accreditation has been a priority goal of the department for three years, and we have been able to achieve this through our hiring policies, training, camp and recreation programs, creating safe environments, and so much more,” said Danielle Ciccarelli, Manager of Cowan Park Sportsplex.
“Each season we strive to deliver high-quality camps, drop-in, aquatics, sports, recreation and leadership programs that foster healthy development, lifelong skills and lasting memories for children 4 to 12 years of age.”
Congratulations again to the City of Woodstock for leading the way in quality programming and making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families in your community!
